Warner Farm CSA
At Warner Farm, we offer a 20-week CSA from mid-June through October. There are 3 vegetable share sizes to choose from, and we deliver to 5 pick-up locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the greater Boston area as well as to the Millstone Farm Market in Sunderland, MA. We grow most of the produce for the CSA ourselves as well as partner with other local farms to supplement our shares and to offer fresh, local fruit, egg, mushroom, flower, and bread share add-ons.
Our shares are pre-boxed for quick and convenient pick-up during weekly 3-hour pick-up windows, making a Warner Farm CSA the easiest way to get healthy, farm fresh produce for your family – and better yet, at a reasonable price!
Our CSA features FULLY-CUSTOMIZABLE SHARES! As a CSA member with our farm you have the ability to edit and adjust your own shares, letting you receive everything you love and nothing you don’t! In addition to customizing shares, members also have the option to add in extras beyond their regular shares, buy bulk produce for canning and processing, and even reschedule share deliveries around vacations or other summer plans. Vegetable Shares
We offer three different vegetable share options to help you choose the right share for you!
Small Share
A small share is perfect for a single person or a couple who cooks occasionally or may eat out often. (about 4-6 “items” per share)
Medium Share
A medium share is ideal for a vegetable loving couple or small family. (about 6-9 “items” per share)
Large Share
A large share supplies the most variety and quantity and is ideal for an omnivorous family of 4 or 5 (or a vegetarian family of 2-3), or a smaller family that cooks frequently and/or would like to freeze or jar extra produce to enjoy throughout the year. (about 9-12 “items” per share)
What is a CSA?
Shares are purchased before the start of the growing season. This allows farmers to focus on growing and delivering the highest-quality, best-tasting fruits and vegetables for shareholders in the summer.
Community Supported Agriculture is a great opportunity to eat seasonally and try different foods. You will receive the best of what a New England harvest has to offer, and experience the fun of letting the season form your menu.
Creating Relationships
Most importantly, a CSA program establishes a relationship between a farm and the local community. In Japan, the name for CSA is “teikei”, meaning, in a sense, to put the farmer’s face on the food. We believe food tastes better when you know the people who grew it. We put great pride into growing delicious and healthy food to feed our community.
