The CSA at Warner Farm is managed by Liam Sullivan, a current student of Sustainable Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts, in partnership with Mike Wissemann, owner of Warner Farm. This collaboration offers both the stellar crops Warner Farm has traditionally raised; delicious strawberries, asparagus, sweet corn, peas and beans, and also the bounty of the CSA market garden, managed by Liam. In the market garden, we are developing an intensive crop rotation to reduce pest pressure, applying a holistic management of diseases, insect pests and weeds. Here we focus on raising the majority of the CSA and market crops, such as salad and cooking greens, onions, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, melons and more - check our Crop Schedule for a more detailed list.

Warner Farm is a diversified fruit and vegetable farm in Sunderland, MA. Nine generations of Warners have farmed here since the 1720's, and we continue that legacy by employing sustainable growing practices and implementing Integrated Pest Management to manage disease and insect pressure. Integrated Pest Management implies a preventative care approach, with the focus on raising healthy plants in healthy soils for healthy people. We strive to maintain biological diverstiy on the farm, and we are constantly working on improving our crop and land rotation and cultivation practices to improve natural plant resistance to insect, disease and weed pressure.

See our CSA crop schedule for a detailed list of our crops. You can find our produce at local markets, stores, Mike's Maze, the Farmer's Markets in Winchester and Medford, and our CSA!
